Affiliate relationships do not change what we review or how we evaluate gear. We choose products based on design, quality, materials, real-world application, and whether a piece of equipment solves a problem in a thoughtful way. If something underwhelms in the field, we say so.
How links work
Some “View at retailer” and purchase buttons point to manufacturer stores or outdoor retailers. When those links are tagged as affiliate links, we may receive a commission if you make a purchase. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.
What this does not mean
- We do not sell rankings or guaranteed positive coverage.
